Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing the analytics portfolio within Innovative Medicines, the full-time remote Senior Data Scientist will lead advanced modeling and simulation techniques to optimize supply chain operations and support business users in adopting analytical tools.

Key responsibilities

• Simulate various scenarios to analyze supply and demand variability and model product flow across the distribution network
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop and maintain simulation models and support users in their implementation
• Evaluate trade-off parameters such as service, cost, capacity, and network resilience to inform operational decisions

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Supply Chain
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data science or analytics, preferably in the pharmaceutical or logistics sectors
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling
• Experience with supply chain optimization tools such as Lyric or AIMMS
• Strong background in Operations Research and optimization algorithms
