Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support the Data Science & Insights team, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will develop and implement models for operational processes, mentor junior data scientists, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment in Minnesota.

Key responsibilities

• Independently identify and analyze data patterns using various techniques, including machine learning methods
• Develop custom models that inform business decisions while ensuring model explainability and stakeholder trust
• Mentor and train other data scientists, leading evaluations of current business processes for improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, or a related quantitative field
• Minimum of six years of professional experience in analytics, statistical modeling, and predictive modeling
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in operationalizing models in production environments
• Experience with large datasets and designing data applications for production
• Strong understanding of machine learning, data mining, and statistical modeling techniques
