Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Collaborating with business leaders and technical experts, the remote Senior Data Scientist will innovate and improve machine learning models to support efficient decision-making and financial progress for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to address practical business problems
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance modeling methodologies and develop new data sources
• Share best practices in software engineering and assist team members with complex technical challenges

Required qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative field with 1+ years of relevant experience, or BS/MS in a quantitative field with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in creating, deploying, and managing supervised learning models in production systems
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering, including test-driven development and code review
• Familiarity with the PyData stack (numpy, scikit-learn, pandas) and various machine learning tools
• Interest in practical ML solutions over theoretical approaches
