Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Data Scientist, this role offers the opportunity to work remotely or from one of our offices, focusing on providing statistical rigor to analytics projects that uncover actionable insights and growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Advising on analysis and modeling techniques while developing custom analytics models to drive customer value and competitive advantage
• Collaborating with analytics engineers to gather data and implement advanced statistical methodologies for business optimization
• Conducting exploratory analysis, hypothesis testing, and statistical inference to translate complex retail problems into data science solutions

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science or a PhD in a related field
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
• Proven ability with statistical methods and advanced modeling techniques, with a preference for experience in ecommerce-related areas
• Demonstrable portfolio of machine learning projects, showcasing full stack data science capabilities
• Strong communication skills to explain complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders
