Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Data Scientist to design, build, and scale advanced detection and diagnostic models for solar and storage assets, working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop machine learning models for detecting underperformance and diagnosing faults in PV and storage systems
• Partner with engineering to integrate models into the Resolv platform, translating outputs into actionable recommendations
• Explore and prototype new modeling approaches, staying current with advancements in machine learning and energy analytics

Required qualifications

• MS in a quantitative field or equivalent experience; 6+ years in applied data science
• Strong hands-on experience with time-series methods and production ML, including model deployment and monitoring
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) and SQL; experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience working with noisy, irregularly sampled, multi-sensor data at scale
• Track record of leading modeling projects end-to-end, translating business problems into measurable model outputs
