Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Leading high-impact initiatives in a remote setting, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will apply machine learning to customer, sales, and operational data, collaborating with business stakeholders to enhance customer experience and drive measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own predictive modeling initiatives that leverage operational and commercial data, including insights from GenAI/LLM APIs and NLP from unstructured sources
• Translate customer care automation logic into scalable modeling approaches that address workflow-specific needs
• Collaborate with vendors and engineering teams to define requirements, validate model outputs, and communicate findings to non-technical audiences

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of applied data science experience or a PhD with equivalent applied experience, with a proven track record of managing models from prototype to production
• Strong hands-on skills in Python and SQL, with experience in Snowflake and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) being a plus
• Proficiency in analyzing complex datasets using statistical techniques and data visualization tools
• Experience building and validating machine learning models on real-world operational data
• Demonstrated ability to work with vendors, engineering teams, and non-technical business stakeholders simultaneously
