Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Supporting advanced data analytics and financial fraud detection, the remote Senior Data Scientist will design and implement machine-learning models while collaborating with criminal investigators and government stakeholders to identify potential fraud within federal programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain supervised and unsupervised machine-learning models
• Analyze large datasets and conduct data-quality assessments to identify inconsistencies
• Collaborate with investigators to develop analytical strategies and support criminal investigations

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree, Ph.D., or equivalent doctorate-level degree in a relevant field, or at least 10 years of applied professional experience
• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in designing and maintaining advanced AI systems and predictive models
• At least three years of experience supporting criminal investigations involving financial fraud
• Strong proficiency in Python, including data manipulation with Pandas
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, and advanced SQL knowledge
