Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support advanced data analytics and financial fraud detection for a federal government client, two remote Senior Data Scientists will design, develop, and maintain machine-learning models while collaborating with investigators on criminal cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain supervised and unsupervised machine-learning models
• Analyze large datasets and conduct data-quality assessments to identify inconsistencies and abnormalities
• Collaborate with investigators to develop analytical strategies and support criminal investigations involving financial fraud

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree, Ph.D., or equivalent in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; or 10 years of relevant experience
• At least five years of hands-on experience designing and maintaining advanced AI systems and predictive models
• Three years of experience supporting criminal investigations involving financial fraud or misuse of government funds
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with data manipulation using Pandas
• Experience with SQL, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL, along with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
