Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support advanced data analytics and financial fraud detection for a federal government client, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will work remotely, designing and implementing machine-learning models while collaborating with criminal investigators and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain supervised and unsupervised machine-learning models
• Analyze large datasets and conduct data-quality assessments to identify inconsistencies
• Support criminal investigations by developing analytical strategies and presenting findings to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree, Ph.D., or equivalent in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or 10 years of relevant experience
• At least five years of hands-on experience with advanced AI systems and predictive models
• Three years of experience supporting criminal investigations involving financial fraud
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with data manipulation using Pandas
• Experience with SQL, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL
