Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Data Scientist will manage and analyze conversational data, design active-learning loops, and collaborate closely with research and engineering teams to enhance model performance and data strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and characterize data across various dimensions, including languages and quality
• Design and implement systematic active-learning loops to prioritize impactful work
• Develop representative benchmarking methodologies and curated datasets for model quality assessment

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with data pipelines and model-facing problems in data science or applied research
• Strong proficiency in Python and data tooling for analysis and automation
• Familiarity with speech/audio or NLP models and their output quality assessment
• Proven ability to improve model performance from ambiguous data situations
• Active user of AI tools with a track record of building and implementing solutions
