Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Data Scientist to work remotely, who will lead the analytics for broker data products, establish measurement strategies, and develop causal inference frameworks that drive business impact across Zillow's broker partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the analytics owner for broker data products and go-to-market strategies, establishing methodology and metric standards
• Independently scope and deliver end-to-end measurement and data science projects, guiding product development from problem definition to execution
• Build reliable analytical pipelines and reusable data products that provide actionable insights for decision-makers and enhance product value

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, product analytics, or a related quantitative field; a Master's degree in statistics or a similar discipline is preferred
• Strong foundation in statistics, causal inference, and experimentation, with demonstrated ability to design clear metrics and assess product impact
• Proficient in SQL and Python, with experience working with large datasets in modern data platforms
• Experience with product analytics, including measurement, experimentation, and influencing decisions with data
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments, with experience in data visualization preferred but not required
