Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Data Scientist will execute statistical and mathematical analyses to support business decision-making, focusing on artificial intelligence and machine learning in a production environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple data science model development projects and collaborate with Associate Data Scientists and Data Scientists on data sources, cleansing, and feature engineering
• Provide full ownership of the model development process, from inception to implementation, including documentation and strategy for model drift and retraining
• Mentor junior data science team members and engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment between data science initiatives and business objectives

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in data science, mathematics, computer science, statistics, or a related field with 3+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in data science
• Expert-level understanding of machine learning concepts, including classification, regression, clustering, and deep learning
• At least 1+ years of experience working with a major cloud platform for creating ML models from data exploration to deployment
• Proficiency in production-grade coding in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and SQL
• Working knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies and experience with version control systems like Git
