Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely in the USA, Canada, or Mexico, the full-time Senior Applied Data Scientist will leverage fleet maintenance and operational data to develop actionable intelligence, focusing on predictive modeling and analytics to enhance customer decision-making regarding usage, cost, and maintenance risks.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver near-term Fleet Intelligence initiatives, including tire and utilization intelligence, ROI measurement, and predictive models
• Evaluate and develop credible projections for fleet usage, maintenance costs, and asset lifecycle decisions
• Translate product questions into clear hypotheses and deliver actionable insights through model outputs

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in applied data science, machine learning, or statistical modeling
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in exploratory analysis and model development on large datasets
• Solid grounding in statistics and machine learning fundamentals, including model validation and uncertainty analysis
• Experience in taking models into production workflows, including testing, deployment, and performance monitoring
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Engineering teams
