Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To drive healthcare outcomes and optimize operational performance, the fully remote Senior Data Scientist will lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models and statistical solutions while collaborating with clinical and technical leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Independently perform advanced analysis of clinical and operational datasets to provide actionable insights for leadership
• Develop, test, and deploy machine learning algorithms to predict clinical and operational outcomes across service areas
• Utilize natural language processing techniques to create text-based solutions that enhance documentation workflows

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field required; Master's Degree preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in healthcare data engineering and analytics in a clinical or biomedical research setting
• Minimum of 1 year of experience within a large healthcare system, hospital, or payer environment
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data processing and algorithm deployment
• Ability to travel on-site 2 to 4 times per year for executive leadership presentations
