Senior Data Scientist
Job Summary
A company in the retail data science and media industry is looking for a Senior Data Scientist.
Position Responsibilities
- Partner with teams to vet new media partnerships and optimize performance of existing media placements
- Build and deliver customer insights and campaign reporting for new partnerships and offerings
- Scope, develop, and execute custom analyses to answer key internal and external questions
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in statistics, mathematics, analytics, economics, marketing, or related discipline
- Minimum 2+ years of experience accessing and manipulating large datasets via programming languages such as Spark, Python, or SQL
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working with partners across product management, go-to-market, and software engineering to develop and scale new features and enhancements
- Experience in digital media, advertising analytics, or ad technology strongly preferred
- Experience deploying emerging technologies and sciences to solve business problems strongly preferred
