Senior Data Scientist/AI Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Data Scientist/AI Analyst, this remote position will develop analytical solutions using data analysis, machine learning, and AI techniques to support underwriting, actuarial, and operations teams in managing risks effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Build sustainable solutions utilizing data analysis, machine learning, and generative AI techniques
• Perform cost-benefit analyses to evaluate project value and ROI of analytical and AI solutions
• Identify and assess new data sources for potential integration into AI and analytical products

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's or Ph.D. in a STEM field is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Applied AI, or Applied R&D roles
• Hands-on experience with large language models and classical machine learning techniques
• Strong knowledge of Python, R, and SQL
• Experience in insurance or financial services is preferred but not mandatory
