Senior Data Scientist Algorithms Payments

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist - Algorithms, Payments for a 9-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify high impact business opportunities through data exploration and model prototyping
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to refine requirements for machine learning models and drive scientific decisions
• Develop and operate machine learning models and pipelines at scale

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (PhD is a plus)
• 5+ years of experience developing scientific frameworks and building machine learning models
• Strong fluency in Python and familiarity with modern frameworks (e.g. Pytorch, Tensorflow)
• Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings
• Prior experience in Payments, Risk/Fraud, or a related area is a plus
