Senior Data Scientist - AML Analytics

Job Summary

Driving the design and development of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions, the full-time Senior Data Scientist - AML Analytics will focus on enhancing risk detection and compliance for financial crime initiatives while collaborating with various teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate machine learning models for AML transaction monitoring and fraud detection
• Apply advanced statistical methods and predictive analytics to identify financial crime risks and improve detection effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and present findings to senior leadership

Required qualifications

• Master's degree (or higher) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
• Proven experience in developing machine learning models within AML, Financial Crime, or Regulatory Compliance environments
• Hands-on experience with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC/CDD, sanctions screening, and fraud detection
• Strong expertise in machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis
• Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
