Senior Data Scientist II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist II in Real World Evidence (RWE) within Pharma R&D.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of RWE analyses for pharmaceutical clients, translating complex drug development questions into actionable research plans
• Derive complex real-world endpoints and provide technical oversight on real-world data methodologies
• Set methodological standards for the team, mentor junior scientists, and drive the adoption of AI-enhanced workflows

Required Qualifications

• Advanced education in epidemiology, biostatistics, data science, public health, or related fields (PhD with 4+ years or Master's with 6+ years of experience)
• Expert-level proficiency in observational real-world healthcare data and time-to-event methodologies
• Proficient in R and SQL, with experience in machine learning and LLM-based coding assistants
• Experience as a primary technical point of communication for pharma clients, with strong project leadership skills
• Experience mentoring junior scientists and fostering a culture of methodological improvement
