Senior Data Steward

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Steward.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify critical data assets and maintain metadata and data lineage for the Business Unit
• Manage data quality, issue resolution, and facilitate certification processes related to data governance
• Act as the primary contact for data-related inquiries and represent the Business Unit in governance forums

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Data Management, Financial Analysis, Technology, or similar OR High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of experience in the same fields
• Preferred area of study: Business or Technology
• Preferred area of experience: Data Steward
• Preferred certifications: Certified Data Steward (CDS), Data Analysis Certified (DAC), Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP)
• Advanced knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Management principles
