Senior Data Warehouse Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic Fintech company, the full-time Staff Data Warehouse Engineer will design and deliver end-to-end data pipelines and warehouse architecture, ensuring reliable data systems that support decision-making across various teams, with the option for remote work.

Key responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery of data pipelines and warehouse architecture, from design through production
• Administer and optimize the data warehouse, focusing on schema design, performance tuning, and stability
• Embed data quality and governance into pipelines, translating business requirements into clear technical designs

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles with a proven track record of significant warehouse builds
• Expert-level SQL skills and strong proficiency in Python, with experience in production-grade applications
• Deep knowledge of ETL/ELT design and orchestration methods such as dbt or Airflow
• Hands-on experience with modern lakehouse/warehouse platforms like Snowflake or Trino/Starburst
• Experience in financial services or SaaS environments, with a focus on minimal DevOps/IT support
