Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Database Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead efforts in performance tuning and optimization of database systems
- Oversee database design, implementation, and maintenance for reliability and availability
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the DBA team while managing tasks and schedules
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field
- Eight plus years of experience as an application Database Administrator
- Two or more years in a leadership or team lead capacity
- Proficient knowledge of Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, and RAC
- Experience with database performance tuning and backup/recovery strategies
