Senior Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Database Administrator to maintain, enhance, and support databases for the Payments Market.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain database servers and performance
• Administer and monitor assigned databases while ensuring scalability and high availability
• Manage backup and recovery processes, including replication for disaster recovery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• At least 6 years of experience with Postgres, MariaDB/MySQL, MSSQL, and AWS RDS/Aurora
• Experience in handling sensitive data in compliance with GDPR/PCI requirements
• Extensive knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
• Ability to work under pressure and be available for off-hours support
