Senior Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Administrator/Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage production MongoDB clusters on premises and in the cloud
• Perform DBA tasks including maintenance, backup/restore, tuning, troubleshooting, and monitoring
• Write automation and maintenance scripts using shell, Python, Ansible, etc

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing MongoDB 7.x/6.x or above in Linux environments
• Deep understanding of MongoDB and NoSQL technologies, including replication and sharding
• Experience in deploying and managing MongoDB clusters and Mongo Atlas
• Solid DBA experience in database design, installation, and performance tuning
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience
