Senior Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and optimize complex databases in a client/server environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee database administration including design, maintenance, and performance tuning
• Project long-range database infrastructure and capacity requirements in collaboration with IT management
• Conduct database quality assurance and support end users on access procedures and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with database query languages such as Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server, and MS Access
• At least three (3) years of hands-on experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
• Experience supporting projects in large-scale enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of client/server database environments and data protection
• Must possess a Top Secret Clearance and favorable Tier 5 (T5)/SSBI investigation at time of proposal
