Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Administrator to manage and optimize large-scale distributed database systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and secure MySQL instances across multiple AWS regions
Assist with migration projects and oversee database performance and reliability
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies while ensuring compliance and security

Required Qualifications

7+ years of MySQL database administration experience in a production environment
5+ years of experience with AWS cloud database management (RDS, DocumentDB, DynamoDB)
Strong experience in Windows Server administration on AWS EC2 instances
Experience with MySQL legacy upgrades to version 8.x
Knowledge of PCI DSS compliance requirements is beneficial
