Senior Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Administrator (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the development, design, testing, deployment, and improvement of database capabilities and APIs
• Manage all technical aspects related to the database product lifecycle including code, infrastructure, data, and security
• Mentor engineers and establish database engineering and software development standards

Required Qualifications

• Experience in development, infrastructure systems, operations, and security
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms (GCP and/or AWS) and cloud-native database services
• 5+ years of experience in software or infrastructure platform development
• In-depth experience with deploying and supporting database technologies such as Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL
• Advanced knowledge of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure as code (IaC) methodologies
