Senior Database Administrator
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Database Administrator/Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full database lifecycle including installation, configuration, daily operations, and upgrades
- Provide high-end technical DBA support and assist software development teams with database structure and operational guidelines
- Propose and implement enhancements to improve database performance and reliability
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on Oracle database administration experience in a mission-critical 24x7 environment
- Prior software development experience with Java, React, Typescript, Node, Go, or similar
- Experience with full database lifecycle management including upgrades, patching, and recovery
- Experience with automated database deployment using Jenkins, Ansible, or similar tools
- Understanding of Unix operating systems
