Senior Database Administrator

Job Summary

To support the transformation of social service agencies' case management data, the full-time remote Senior Database Administrator will lead the development of database software, manage database operations, and ensure secure data handling while collaborating with technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the DBA ops lead to provide leadership and delegate tasks to the DBA team
• Investigate and troubleshoot database and API issues, developing innovative solutions
• Design and maintain database connections, ETL/ELT pipelines, and SQL workflows to support application backends

Required qualifications

• Proficiency with object-oriented programming and any flavor of SQL
• Advanced knowledge of relational database management system (RDBMS) concepts
• Experience with automation tools, preferably Azure Data Factory
• Proficiency with ETL/ELT pipelines and secure data communication principles
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, with five or more years of relevant experience
