Senior Database Administrator

Job Summary

To enhance the performance and reliability of critical healthcare data platforms, the full-time Senior Database Administrator will engage with healthcare customers and R&D teams, focusing on optimizing SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments in hybrid architectures while leveraging AI tools for automation and system intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers on database performance and architecture
• Partner with R&D to improve database architecture and contribute to modernization initiatives
• Optimize systems supporting clinical imaging and patient data workflows while troubleshooting production issues

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on DBA experience in production environments
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Proven experience managing hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud)
• Experience in customer-facing or production support roles
• Deep knowledge of performance tuning and high availability/disaster recovery strategies
