Job Summary

Leading the design, implementation, optimization, and support of secure, high-performing enterprise database environments, the full-time Senior Database Administrator will ensure reliability and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement, and maintain moderately complex database environments, ensuring security and recoverability
• Monitor database and server performance, providing analysis and solutions to performance issues
• Manage the design and implementation of new projects while communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
• Strong expertise in MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with database performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting in complex production environments
• Familiarity with database programming languages such as PL/SQL and T-SQL
