Senior Database Administrator

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Database Administrator will build and maintain the company's database infrastructure, ensuring security, availability, and performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure database security, implement encryption, and develop documentation standards
• Manage database replication, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans
• Monitor database performance, perform tuning, and conduct root cause analysis on incidents

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• Minimum of ten (10) years of database administration experience with Oracle Server, Mongo, MSSQL, Maria, and Postgres
• Experience with UNIX, LINUX, and Windows operating systems
• Scripting experience using command, batch, or similar processes
• Ability to work with large volume databases and understand data models
