Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Database Administrator, the remote role will manage enterprise relational databases in AWS and hybrid environments, focusing on IBM Db2, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS while guiding DBA teams and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support enterprise database platforms across AWS and hybrid environments
- Perform database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning
- Troubleshoot complex database incidents and implement preventive actions to reduce recurring issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Extensive hands-on DBA experience in complex enterprise environments
- Expert level experience with IBM Db2, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS
- Strong knowledge of relational database management systems and performance tuning
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring database professionals
