Senior Database Administrator
Job Summary
To ensure the integrity and security of client data, the full-time Senior Database Administrator will manage database performance, address client issues, and support a collaborative team environment while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Address automated alerts, failures, incidents, and client requests while communicating effectively with clients
- Improve services through automation and support teammates in achieving team goals
- Perform advanced database work, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of SQL Server instances and high availability/disaster recovery topologies
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with MS SQL Server
- Extensive experience in designing and troubleshooting HA/DR topologies, particularly Transactional Replication and AlwaysOn Availability Groups
- Hands-on experience writing and optimizing TSQL
- Formal database education or DBA certification
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Azure SQL DB, or AWS RDS is a plus
