Senior Database Administrator
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Database Administrator, this remote position will manage and support enterprise relational databases in AWS and hybrid environments, focusing on IBM Db2, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS while leading DBA teams and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain enterprise database platforms across AWS and hybrid environments
- Perform database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning
- Lead and mentor DBA team members, setting priorities and coordinating work
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Extensive hands-on DBA experience in complex enterprise environments
- Expert level experience with IBM Db2, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS
- Strong knowledge of relational database management systems and performance tuning
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring database professionals
