Senior Database Administrator
Job Summary
To support complex SQL environments, the contract Senior Database Administrator will perform database performance analysis, create and optimize database objects, and collaborate with development teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform database performance analysis and tuning to enhance query execution and system efficiency
- Create and modify database objects to meet application requirements
- Support database activities during deployment and go-live phases of web applications
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of professional IT Systems DBA experience with expertise in MS SQL, Postgres, MongoDB, or BigQuery
- Proficiency in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries
- Experience with database management tools like SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Sentry
- Ability to work independently in large, complex environments
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
