Senior Database Administrator
Job Summary
To support complex SQL environments, the contract Senior Database Administrator will perform database performance analysis, optimize queries, and collaborate with development teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct database performance analysis and tuning to enhance query execution and system efficiency
- Create and modify database objects, including tables and stored procedures, to meet application requirements
- Analyze database plans and troubleshoot issues using tools like SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Sentry
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of professional IT Systems DBA experience with expertise in MS SQL, Postgres, MongoDB, or BigQuery
- Proficiency in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries
- Experience with database management tools such as SQL Server Management Studio and DataGrip
- Able to work independently in large, complex database environments
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
