Senior Database Administrator
Job Summary
Providing senior-level database administration and support, the full-time remote Senior Database Administrator will manage database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and integration for EFMSS and associated systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain databases and server infrastructure while ensuring optimal performance and availability
- Monitor and analyze database performance, implementing tuning strategies to enhance application efficiency and user experience
- Develop and maintain data management procedures, ensuring data integrity and facilitating data exchanges between systems
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in database administration or a related field
- Demonstrated experience with database performance monitoring, tuning, and backup/recovery processes
- Proven ability to develop and maintain database interfaces and data exchanges
- Advanced knowledge of database architecture, security, and data management principles
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database-related issues effectively
