Senior Database Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Architect to support the Department of Veterans Affairs' Enterprise Acquisition Systems Support program.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive database architecture and DBA support across the EASS eCMS portfolio
• Architect, administer, and optimize SQL Server environments, including schema management and performance tuning
• Collaborate with teams to ensure safe implementation and deployment of database changes

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field; or ten years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Five or more years of experience in senior-level database architecture and/or DBA roles
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, relational data modeling, and T-SQL
• Experience with data movement, reporting needs, and maintaining technical documentation
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance at the Tier 2 level
