Senior Database Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Database Developer will serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert, developing and maintaining robust database systems, optimizing performance, and managing ETL workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain database systems aligned with business goals and objectives
• Optimize database performance, scalability, and security, and manage ETL workflows using SSIS
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to database developers and analysts, conducting code reviews and fostering continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in database development and management
• Expertise in SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI
• Strong experience in SQL Server, T-SQL, and stored procedure development
• Proficiency in developing ETL workflows and familiarity with Azure Data Services is a plus
