Senior Database Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Database Engineer to manage and optimize cloud-based database systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud-based databases
- Support SQL databases with troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize database integration and resources
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in computer science or related discipline; or equivalent work experience
- 7-10 years of experience supporting SQL Server in an enterprise environment
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, and various database systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Willingness to participate in a 24X7 on-call rotation for production support
