Senior Database Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Engineer to support their Enterprise IT Operations Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage various database systems ensuring high availability and performance
• Implement cloud database solutions and maintain database security measures
• Monitor database systems for performance issues and mentor junior DBAs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience managing enterprise-level databases, particularly with Microsoft SQL
• Familiarity with database security principles and high availability solutions
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a public trust clearance
• Obtain a baseline 8570 certification (IAT Level II) within 3 months of hire date
