Senior Database Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Database Engineer to ensure application uptime and optimize database performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain secure, highly available database environments across Azure and on-prem platforms
- Develop automated processes using SQL, PowerShell, and Infrastructure-as-Code to streamline operations
- Monitor and optimize database performance while providing escalated support for complex issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical or business discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a database engineer, with at least 2 years in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2019 and newer) and Azure Data offerings
- Strong proficiency in T-SQL development, including complex queries and performance tuning
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple tools and RDBMSs
