Senior Database Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Database Engineer to design and implement database solutions and improve application performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to set priorities and implement solutions
- Ensure database systems meet performance, availability, scalability, quality, and security requirements
- Research innovative technologies and design resilient database processes and solutions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience with MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL
- Extensive knowledge of Pgpool-II for query load balancing and failover management
- Experience with performance tuning and SQL best practices
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant experience
- Experience working in a microservice architecture
