Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Engineer to design, implement, and maintain complex database systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement scalable database designs that meet business needs
Optimize and tune databases for performance, including query optimization and troubleshooting
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices for backup, recovery, and access control

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Database Engineer or similar role
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
Knowledge of NoSQL databases and experience with cloud-based databases is highly desirable
Familiarity with database automation and DevOps practices
