Senior Database Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Platform Engineer specializing in Couchbase and platform automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate enterprise-grade Couchbase platforms for business-critical workloads
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for database provisioning and lifecycle management
• Partner with SRE teams on monitoring, incident management, and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience/certification
• 7+ years of experience in database engineering, including 3+ years with Couchbase
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
• Proven experience operating databases at enterprise scale in AWS environments
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
