Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas for performance and scalability
• Deploy and manage PostgreSQL on AWS RDS, ensuring high availability and security
• Support live production deployments and troubleshoot database-related issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning
• Experience managing high-volume, transaction-heavy relational databases
• Strong knowledge of SQL tuning, indexing strategies, and partitioning
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or SQL-based automation) for database maintenance
