Senior Database Engineer

Job Summary

To support the production stability of customer applications, the full-time Senior Database Engineer will manage complex incident resolution, develop observability and automation solutions, and mentor engineers, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert in production database troubleshooting and performance analysis
• Own complex incident root cause analysis across multi-tenant PostgreSQL/MariaDB fleets
• Influence infrastructure decisions that shape the multi-tenant cloud platform

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting or testing large-scale web-based distributed applications
• 5+ years of experience with multiple relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SaaS, PaaS, or Cloud Infrastructure products
• Experience in leveraging AI in work processes or decision-making
• Unix skills including development, navigation, and administrative actions
