Senior Database Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Energy, Resilience and Sustainability Division, the full-time Senior Database Engineer will lead requirements gathering, perform data analysis, and design interactive dashboards while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead structured requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders to define data and reporting needs
- Create and maintain documentation of database configurations and processes, ensuring data integrity and quality
- Design and implement database structures and develop production-grade dashboards using tools like Power BI
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in business/data analysis with a focus on requirements gathering and stakeholder management
- Proven experience in building dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance
