Senior Database Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating with global teams, the full-time Senior Database Engineer will design, develop, and maintain database applications and reusable software components, focusing on performance tuning for large-volume data sets while leveraging AI-assisted development tools in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of software applications from product vision to implementation
- Drive application design and evaluate new technologies for their applicability to roadmap requirements
- Perform PL/SQL and query performance tuning on large-volume production data sets to ensure scalability and responsiveness
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software design and development using Oracle
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with advanced Oracle features such as BULK Collection
- Demonstrated proficiency in Database Development and Performance tuning in Oracle RDBMS
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate PL/SQL development and testing
